04 / What I do

Services.

I'm a freelance CGI artist and 3D motion designer with more than 20 years in visual storytelling. I build cinematic visuals for brands, agencies and international events — from photoreal product animation to full AI-assisted film production, concept through final frame.

CGI Product Animation

CGI Behind the Scenes — technical breakdown CGI Behind the Scenes · Technical Breakdown

Photoreal CGI product animation for advertising, built entirely in 3D so the product is never limited by what a camera can physically reach. Useful when the product doesn't exist yet, when the shot is impossible to stage, or when a campaign needs a dozen variants without a dozen separate shoots.

Glass, liquid, metal and soft surfaces are where this work earns its keep — materials that are slow and expensive to light practically, and that render beautifully when the scene is built right.

  • Hero product films
  • Product visualization stills for print and web
  • Exploded views and feature breakdowns
  • Social cutdowns in vertical, square and wide
  • Looping ambient versions for retail screens

Event & Conference Motion

Stage visuals · Opening films · Trade show

Softconstruct ICE EXPO 2025 promo — 3D motion design ICE EXPO 2025 · 3D Motion

Conference opening video production and the full motion system that surrounds it — the film that starts the keynote, the sponsor loops, the lower thirds, the award stings, the idle content that plays between sessions. One visual language across every screen in the venue.

Most of this work has been in the iGaming and technology conference space, where the stage is large, the sponsor list is long and the schedule does not move. I currently produce motion systems and promotional films for SiGMA World's international summits.

  • Opening and keynote films
  • LED stage backdrops and wide-format loops
  • Sponsor reels and award sequences
  • 3D promo video for trade show booths
  • Motion identity kit the in-house team can reuse

AI Video Production

AI cinema · Concept films · Campaign content

Return of the Raven — AI short film Return of the Raven · AI Filmmaking

AI video production for brands, directed the way a film is directed — shot list, character continuity, lighting logic and edit rhythm — rather than prompted and hoped for. The tools are new; the craft decisions behind a good sequence are not.

This is the right route when a campaign needs scale, speed or a world that would be impossible to shoot: period settings, creatures, aerials, crowd scenes. It also pairs well with CGI, where key hero elements stay in 3D for full control and the surrounding world is generated.

  • Cinematic brand films and concept pieces
  • Character and location reference boards
  • Shot-by-shot direction and continuity design
  • AI-assisted extensions of live-action footage
  • Short films and narrative sequences

Simulation & VFX

Liquid · Fire · Cloth · Destruction

Lemon vs Water Drop — liquid simulation Lemon vs Water Drop · Simulation

3D simulation work for commercials and cinematic sequences — liquid simulation for product commercials, volumetric fire and smoke, cloth and soft body, and the compositing that makes any of it sit convincingly in frame.

Simulation rewards planning. The value is in knowing which setup will behave and which will fight you, and designing the shot around that before a single frame is cached.

  • FLIP fluid and liquid pour simulation
  • Volumetric fire, smoke and explosion effects
  • Cloth, soft body and rigid body dynamics
  • Compositing, grading and final finishing
  • Technical breakdowns for client review

How it runs

From brief to
final frame.

01

Brief & direction

We agree on what the piece has to achieve, who it speaks to and where it will play. I come back with a visual direction.

02

Previs & look

Boards, a style frame or a rough blockout. You approve the look before any expensive frame is rendered.

03

Production

Modelling, animation, simulation, lighting and rendering. You see progress at agreed checkpoints, not only at the end.

04

Finish & deliver

Compositing, grade, sound sync and every format you need. Source files are provided on request.

Questions

Before you
get in touch.

Can I hire you as a freelance CGI artist for a single project?

Yes. Most work is project-based — a single product film, a conference opening video or a campaign. Longer retainers are available for brands and event organisers who need a continuous output of visuals.

Do you work with clients outside Armenia?

Yes. I'm based in Yerevan and work with clients worldwide. Current work includes motion systems and promotional films for international summits.

What do you need from me to start?

A short brief, any existing brand assets — logos, fonts, colours — and reference of the feeling you're after. For product work a 3D model helps, but isn't required: models can be built from photographs and technical drawings.

Which software and tools do you use?

Primarily Blender for 3D, EmberGen for volumetric simulation, After Effects and Premiere Pro for compositing and edit, and Photoshop for design. AI video tools are used where they genuinely extend what's possible — always under direction, never as a shortcut.

Can you take a project from concept through to final delivery?

Yes. The full pipeline is covered in-house: concept development, art direction, 3D environments, animation, simulation, lighting, rendering, compositing, edit and final grade.
